Arain family and their cheap tactics

Go to maps.google.ca and search for Arain Jewellers.
Apparently the Arain family is on a positive google review campaign to raise the average review score. It only goes to show how deceptive and dishonest their whole business is.

Stolen jewelry? Could it be?

Ryan77 writes in:
Hi Tennessee, I feel your frustration. My home was burglarized a few years ago. They took many valuable things including my wife's jewellery. A co-worker of mine suggested paying a nearby jewellery shops a visit, in case they buy and sell stolen goods. I thought it was a good idea so I did. One of them was Arain Jewellers. I saw a necklace behind display case that looked just like the one I gave my wife for christmas. I wasn't entirely sure though, so I asked a clerk to see it, to check if the monograms of my wife's initials were there. The clerk said that it's a customer's and didn't let me see it. I left without fuss. I wouldn't be surprised if they in fact deal with stolen merchandise.
Thank you Ryan77. Please don't forget to leave a google review!

Almost a victim

A friend introduced me to Ross who had an experience with Arain Jewellers.  He writes in:
I visited them a couple years ago to shop for an anniversary present. It was supposed to be a 22 karat gold, but when I brought it home, strangely I noticed that the manufacturer's jewelry case didn't say which karat it is. I looked at the rings carefully and the markings had very suspicious indentation and signs of tempering. I suspected it's impurer gold marked up, a criminal act btw, so I returned it to the store immediately.  The salesman acted all nice when I bought it, but when I tried to return it, it was a completely different story. He was very rude and on the verge of yelling. I think his name was Sam.
I convinced him to leave a google review. Thank you Ross!

Another warning.

They recently opened another store at Bramalea City Centre in Brampton Ontario. I urge you not to visit. It's built on stolen money.

Friends Don't Let Friends Go To Arain Jewellers!

Arain Jewellers is a crooked business you should avoid.

I am a good law abiding citizen, a mother of 2, and live a simple life with simple joys with very few valuable material possessions. One being my beloved diamond ring.
Arain Jewellers is a jewelry shop in Woodbine, Ontario. I went there to have my ring cleaned and they replaced it with cheaper diamond of lesser value. I thought that I was imagining it at first but growing suspicion made me seek out an appraiser, who confirmed my fears. You can read my google review of their business for more detail.

I was frustrated but had no legal means to bring these people to justice due to lack of evidence. I am creating this blog in hopes to bring awareness to Arain Jewellers, and serve as a warning beacon to good people everywhere.

Avoid Arain Jewellers. They are thieves.

Do you have a story about these crooked people or related business you'd like to share with me?

Thank you.
